Hello!

My name is Taylor, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My primary focus is on supporting teens, parents, and adults through various stages of their life journey. My professional background spans a diverse range of experiences, from working with youth in residential care to rock climbing with teens on wilderness intensives, and delivering in-home trauma-focused therapy. I believe that life is a complex and, at times, challenging voyage, but it is not a journey you need to take alone. My approach is rooted in meeting individuals wherever they find themselves on life’s path, and supporting them to find the direction that is best for them.

With individual clients, I focus on developing insight and understanding of each individual’s unique needs and therapeutic goals, and providing person centered, strength based approaches to help them achieve those goals. When working with families, I offer a collaborative approach to therapy. I provide parenting coaching and psychoeducation, developing resources and coping skills for all members of the family to manage those inevitably difficult moments, and seek to ensure that everyone can feel seen and understood within the family system.

Therapy is a collaborative process; it can be difficult and vulnerable at times to confront past experiences or challenge current maladaptive behaviors. I will work with you to ensure you have a safe and supportive environment, not only to develop insight and awareness of your own process, but to grow and heal so you can continue down the path of life without having to carry the same burdens as before. I look forward to working with you!

Hi!

I’m Mark! I am a licensed clinical social worker, originally from Philadelphia. I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Rochester with a minor in theater and a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in New York City. I am licensed to practice in both Colorado and Utah.

I build on more than a decade of prior experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I have worked in residential and wilderness therapy settings as well as in transitional care programming to help support adolescents transitioning back home from out-of-home placement. Most recently, I worked at Open Sky Wilderness where I utilized the healing power of nature to foster growth, healing, and connection within families.

I approach my work with families with deep care and empathy, informed by a holistic understanding that treatment is a continuum and the journey for teenagers and their parents can often feel long and devastating. Compassion and authenticity are cornerstone values, as I know that growth requires both discomfort and hope. My goal is to help families harness the skills necessary to make real, lasting change while supporting his client’s growth towards self-actualization.
